Grammar can be fun! Many do not agree with this statement, but I believe that grammar is as fascinating as it is frustrating. And if you treat it as a puzzle to be solved, it can also be fun.

You enjoy learning rules and applying them to manage communication and write text. This is one of many approaches to learning language, known today as "traditional" and communicating somehow "dated". I think many people find this way of learning a language suitable and relaxing.

You enjoy using technology to learn a language. Watch films and tv shows, read books and news articles. Practice your grammar on that app. This is how I first approached myself to English 15 years ago. And... it worked! Not as good as I was expecting, but I did learn a lot. The issue came when then I needed to open my mouth to communicate something.

I find that the best way to learn a language is to find that combination of approaches and methods that is right and engaging for you. What keeps you motivated to keep learning. When I teach grammar, I tend to let my students observe the language, how it behaves, how it changes and why, to listen to its sounds. I think this is the best part of learning, discovering. What is hard is finding the confidence to express your thoughts in that language, to turn the learning into practice. And that is what I want to work on with you.
